General
-
Will emergency service responders be able to get to me in the event of an emergency during construction?
The Coachella Valley Corridor Improvement Projects Taskforce has met with all emergency service responders in the areas surrounding the projects. Together, we have established detour and contingency plans to ensure that response time is not impacted by construction. In addition, emergency service providers will be the first point of contact for lane and ramp closure information.
-
How will I be impacted by the construction of these projects?
To limit the impact to the motoring public a majority of the construction will be performed at night. The Coachella Valley Corridor Improvement Projects Taskforce will also be using Twitter, a project specific website (www.i10cvcprojects.com) and a project specific hotline (888.863.1757) to update motorists regarding construction activities, work schedules, lane/ramp closures, and detour plans.
