Project Overview

  • Demolish existing overcrossing and replace with new six-lane overcrossing, including bike lanes on each side
  • Modify on and off-ramps: (Note: All on-ramps will be setup for future metering)
    • Westbound I-10
      • New, one-lane loop on-ramp from northbound Indian Canyon Drive
      • Realigned, one-lane on-ramp from southbound Indian Canyon Drive
      • Realigned, two-lane off-ramp
    • Eastbound I-10
      • New, one-land on-ramp from Garnet Avenue
      • Realigned, one-lane on-ramp from northbound Indian Canyon Drive
      • Realigned, two-lane off-ramp
    • Widen portions of 20th Avenue and Garnet Avenue
    • Improve traffic signals, storm drainage and freeway vertical clearance
