Project Overview

  • Modify on and off-ramps:
    • Westbound I-10
      • New, two-lane metered loop on-ramp
      • Realign and relocate existing off-ramp to connect with Varner Road instead of Monterey Avenue
      • Add traffic signal at the intersection of off-ramp and Varner Road
      • Remove intersection and traffic signal at Monterey Avenue and ramps
    • Eastbound I-10
      • Lengthen left-turn lane from southbound Monterey Avenue to the I-10 on-ramp to accommodate more vehicles
