Project Overview

  • Demolish existing overcrossing and replace with new six-lane overcrossing, including bike lanes on each side
  • Modify on and off-ramps: - (Note: All on-ramps will be setup for future metering)
    • Westbound I-10
      • New, one-lane metered loop on-ramp from northbound Palm Drive
      • Realigned, one-lane metered on-ramp from southbound Palm Drive
      • Realigned, two-lane off-ramp
    • Eastbound I-10
      • New, one-lane metered loop on-ramp from southbound Palm Drive
      • Realigned, one-lane metered on-ramp from northbound Palm Drive
      • Realigned, two-lane off-ramp
    • Realign Micro Place and Salvia Road
    • Combined with widening of Gene Autry Trail Bridge over Union Pacific Railroad
